HomeMy WebLinkAbout2.0 Letter to Adjacent Owner 09.20.2011Garfield County September 20, 2011 BUILDING & PLANNING DEPARTMENT Re: Bargath, LLC - Parachute to Noble Pipeline Development Plan Amendment (PDPA 6999) Dear Adjacent Property Owner: Garfield County has received an application requesting to amend the approved Williams Production RMT -- Parachute to Noble Pipeline to abandon and remove a portion of the existing 12" pipeline that crosses the Colorado River and replace it with another 12" pipeline with alternative alignment. A new route that crosses the Colorado River is being proposed due to the movement in the alignment of the river. By this review the County has found that this amendment to be technically complete and to be minor resulting in a non - substantial change and can be approved administratively via Section 4 -107 of the Unified Land Use Resolution, of 2008, as amended (ULUR). Per Section 4 -107 of the ULUR, the County is required to notify the Board of County Commissioners as well as property owners within 200 feet of your property of this decision. This notice will be sent today (September 20, 2011) and if no call up occurs within 14 calendar days (October 4, 2011), this decision to approve the change will be final. At that point, the County will record a Land Use Change Permit that memorializes this action that also includes the new pipeline alignment.
