HomeMy WebLinkAbout2.0 Decision LetterJune 17, 2011 Attention: Mike Markus Olsson Associates 826 21 '/2 Road Grand Junction, CO 81505 BUILDING & PLANNING DEPARTMENT RE: Special Use Permit Amendment to amend Resolution 2004-128 to allow the addition of a private CNG filling station for Encana Dear Mike, Thank you for the application you submitted to our office on June 17, 2011. This application proposes to amend Resolution 2004 -128 to install 3 skid mounted compressed natural gas (CNG) cylinders to serve as a private filling facility serving the existing Encana CNG vehicle fleet The facility is to be located adjacent to the temporary office facility off of County Road 215 at the Solvay property. The gas will come from an existing natural gas line already serving the property. By this review, we have found that the proposed amendment as stated above results in a non - substantial change and can be approved administratively via Section 4 -107 of the Unified Land Use Resolution, of 2008, as amended (ULUR). Per Section 4 -107 of the ULUR, we are required to notify the Board of County Commissioners as well as property owners within 200 feet of your property of this decision. This notice will be sent Monday, (June 20, 2011) and if no call up occurs within 14 calendar days (July 4, 2011), this decision to approve the change will be final. At that point, we will record a Land Use Change Permit that memorializes this action that also includes a new site plan. Do not hesitate to call me if you have any questions or comments.
