RE: Resolution No. 2011 -10 / Resolution Concerned with the Approval of a
Land Use Change Permit for Extraction of Natural Resources (Sand &
Gravel) known as the "Expansion of the Blue Pit"
In follow -up to our earlier discussions, this letter is to confirm that the Applicant, the
Dolores (Dee) B. Blue Revocable Trust and Dee Blue, will take no further actions toward the
satisfaction or performance of conditions under the above - referenced conditional approval and
as such, will not seek a land use change permit under the same. This approval was extended on
October 10, 2011 for a period of one year past its said expiration date of November 8, 2011. It is
my understanding that this matter will be considered at the BOCC hearing of October 17, 2011
and that said extension will be vitiated or otherwise annulled.
Bill Roberts and I will be present at the Commissioner meeting room on this date and
will be available to address the same with the BOCC, if required.

Building and Planning Department has withdrawn the text amendment application which had proposed
to amend the Unified land use Resolution of 2008, as amended, to allow for Board of County
Commissioner reconsideration of Major and Limited Impact applications.
