HomeMy WebLinkAbout2.0 Director's Determination.pdfAugust 30, 2013 Attention: Julie Justus Chevron USA Inc. 760 Horizon Drive Grand Junction, CO 81506 Garfield County RE: Director's Determination for a Minor Temporary Housing Facility (MTEH 7634) Dear Julie, This letter is provided in regard to a request, on behalf Chevron USA Inc., for a Land Use Change Permit for a Minor Temporary Employee Housing facility. The Applicant seeks approval for a Minor Temporary Employee Housing facility on 1. 7 acres approximately 0.6 miles north of the inte.rsection of County Roads 204 and 211. This application has been reviewed and the Director has approved the application subject to the following conditions: 1. That all representations of the Applicant shall be considered conditions of approval unless amended herein. 2. The Minor Facility shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and _local laws and regulations. 3. Prior to the issuance of a Land Use Change Permit, the Applicant shall provide to the Community Development Department a "Will Serve" letter from the hauler that picks up and disposes of the solid waste/trash for the facility. The County's Land Use and Development Code requires notification to the Board of County Commissioners for their review and potential call-up of the application for public hearing. The BOCC's opportunity to call-up a decision extends for a period of 10 calendar days. Should the BOCC chose not to call-up the decision, a Land Use Change Permit will be issued upon demonstration that all condition(s) of approval have been met.
