CO 81650 Your application to lease water from West Divide Water Conservancy District was approved effective January 1, 1998, at the Board of Directors meeting on December 10, 1997. However, your application was for one house and one acre foot of water. A representative from the Water Resources office in Glenwood was at the meeting. He stated that once you add a dwelling unit to the existing permit, that permit looses its exempt status and becomes a non-exempt permit which requires you to augment the existing use. Therefore, the Board approved your application and contract for two acre feet instead of one.
