Inspections were conducted by this firm on June 15 (Excavation & Subsurface Soils), to
establish the following criteria:
The subsurface (excavated) soils are conducive to accepting anticipated loads from the
project building. The bottom of the excavation appeared to be slightly moist clayey
sands (SM) intermixed with lean -clay alluvium (SC). The Contractor had leveled the
sub -grade surface to accept the designed concrete perimeter foundation wall and
footing system, with on-site design modifications to reflect the capability of sub -grade
soils.
The integrity of the soils meets the parameters and requirements of the Garfield County
Building Department, IBC Chapter 18. .-mow•,
