Box 3240 Eagle, CO 81623 Dear Mr. Poffenbarger, This office has been notified by our planning staff, who conducted a visit to your property on Sweetwater Road in unincorporated Garfield County known as assessors' parcel 186316100011, that improvements have been placed on the property without permits from the county. It was observed that a yurt encompassed by a deck, two storage sheds, a portable toilet and a camper vehicle are located on the property. It is a violation of Colorado Revised Statutes 30-28-205 & 210, Uniform Building Code, to erect buildings on this property without a building permit. It is a violation of Colorado Revised Statutes 30-28-124 & 124.5, zoning regulations, to use a yurt or a camper vehicle as a dwelling. You are hereby given notice, pursuant to the above statutes, that you must completely correct the violations within thirty (30) days of the date this notice is received. Please be advised that violation of the above statutes is a misdemeanor crime punishable by a fine of not more than $100.00 or imprisonment for not more than ten days, or both, and that each day that the violation continues is deemed to be a separate offense.
