(Shelter in Place)
In the event of a SEVERE WEATHER THREAT:
1. Communicate by radio to the Admin Office regarding the emergency.
2. If instructed by Admin to Shelter-in-Place remove this instruction sheet and keep it with you along with the class roster. Also, be sure flashlight is handy. 3. Move students & staff to pre-planned locations away from windows. (Garage).
4. Immediately perform a roll call of students by use of class roster.
5. Advise Admin of roll call verification and status.
6. STAY IN THE SHELTER LOCATION UNTIL INSTRUCTED BY A SCHOOL
OFFICIAL OR UNIFORMED FIREMAN OR POLICE OFFICER THAT THE DANGER HAS PASSED. 14. After the Weather Threat has ceased, conduct another roll call and report status to the Admin.
15. Operations will continue as instructed by the Admin.
If you lose contact with the Admin Office, after performing Lockdown, contact
Police by 9-1-1 and report your status and that you have lost contact with the
Admin Office.
