Subject: Amended Administrative Pipeline Permit Application for
Marathon Oil Company Water Pipelines PDP12908
Dear Mr. Dennison,
Thank you for your request to modify the Marathon Water Pipeline System
PDP12908. I have reviewed the application amendment and have found it to be
`technically complete'.
In discussing this action with the Director, Mr. Jarman said that two things are
required in this action:
■ the change must is not be deemed `substantial' , and
■ proof must be provided that all affected property owners and all severed
mineral interests at this affected location have been made aware of this
change and do not have an objection to the relocation of the route.
This appears to have been accomplished and submitted in the request.
The permit amendment is hereby issued with applicable conditions. The same
work zone restriction for Section 29 exists as existed in the original permit, and
its condition is stated in Exhibit B. Exhibit B will be recorded and attached to
the permit. I will send you a copy of Exhibit B when it is recorded.
There will not be a call-up period of 14 days by the Board of County
Commissioners as this is not deemed a `substantial' change by the Planning
Director.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact this office.

Exhibit B
1. An amendment is permitted to the portion of the Marathon Water
Pipeline System PDP12908 depicted below in Section 29, T5S, R96W.
As stated in Exhibit A, installation and general construction activity
related to this portion of the pipeline system shall be performed to
adhere to those times and seasons that are seasons for breeding and
nesting, in specific, the months of February through June in the areas
where sensitive species activities are identified (Sage Grouse leks and
active raptor nests in Section 29, T5S, R96W of the 6th P. M.)
