Marathon Oil Company (MOC) is proposing to revise line size that impacts approximately 7,000 feet of the right-of-way (ROW) previously approved by Garfield County. The segment of ROW impacted is indicated on the map included with this letter. The proposed revision is to change the diameter and type of pipeline in this section of the ROW from one 8 - inch steel line and one 4 -inch Flexpipe line to two 4 -inch Flexpipe lines. This change in pipe size and type is being dictated by operational constraints and will not create any additional impact to the land surface or the environment. All Conditions of Approval under the subject PDP will continue to be adhered to in the area affected by this change. We would appreciate your prompt response to this request so that construction of these pipelines can proceed expeditiously. If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact me at 970-263-7800.
