A RESOLUTION CONCERNED WITH AMENDING THE GARFIELD COUI'ITY ZONING RESOLUTION
OF 1978 BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTIONS 2.02.15,3.02.03, 5.03.13 and 5.06.02
WHEREAST oo the 2nd day of January, 1979, this Boarcl of CountyCommissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, adopted Resolution No. 7g-lconcerning a Zoning Resolution for the County of Garfield, State ofColor ado;
wHEREAS, this Board is authorized by the provisions of Sections30-28-109 through 30-28-116, C.R.S. '73r dS amendecl, to provide for theapproval of amendments to such Zoning Resolution, and the Board has soamended the sa id Resol ut ion i -- --'
WHEREAST Pursuant to such authority, Jack Sours has proposed certaintext amendments to the Zoning Resolution which amendments relate to thelocating of communication towers and broadcasting studios in GarfieldCount-y;
WHEREAST orl February B, 1984, the Garfield County Planning Commissionrecommended approval of the proposed text amendments;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the 2nd day of Apri1,, 1984,before the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, aithe Commissioners meeting room, Centennial Annex County Courthouse, 101Eighth Street, Glentvood Springs, Colorado, as to which hearing, publicnotice was given in accordance with requirements of Section iO of theGarfield County Zoning Resolution;
WHEREAS, the Public wasr dt such public hearing, given the opportunityto voice its' opinion regarding the proposed text arnendmenti, whiciropinions have been given fu11 consideration by this Board; and
WHEREAS, this Board has determined that the proposeil text amendmentsare necessary, is in the best interest of the citizens of Garfielcl County,Colorado, and_ is in general conformity vrith the Garfielrl CounLyComprehensive Plan.
NOw, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners ofGarfield County, Colorado, thab the Garfield County zoning Resolution,adopted by this Board on the 2nd day of January, I979r dnd iaentifiecj asits Resolution No. 79-1 , as subsequently amendecl by this tsoard, siraIl beand hereby is amended as follows:
