Amendment to Section 3.07.03
We suggest the following standards:
a. AtI kennels shall be required to control and abate such
sound from emanating beyond the property boundary as
may be incompatible with surrounding property uses.
The means by which noise abatement may be accomplishedsha1I be determined at the public hearing. The Countyshall retain continuing jurisdiction after approval onthe issue of noise and noise abatement.
b. AIl odors will be contained within the kennel and onthe property.
c. That individual sewage disposal system capable ofhandling aI1 waste for the kennels shall be installed.

parcel depicted on the attached documents. Dwight and Susie
itar.rey have acquired a Contractual- interest in the parcel . The
owner in the contractual interest parties request the
Commissioners and the Garfield County Building and P1anning
Department to amend the Zone District Text Amendment, Section
:.-oz.o: by adding as a special use a "commercial dog and cat
boarding kennel. " Our check in the amount of $300 to obtain
consideration of this matter is enclosed.
