Uses, special: Section to include sanitary landfill. Said text change is to pelmit sanitary landfill: A method of disposing of refuse on land without creating nuisances to public health or safety by safe engineering principles. in the above described zone district. County Commissioners to consider the enclosed application for a special use permit to construct and operate a sanitary landfill. This proposed landfill will be solely for the use of Union Oil Company of California. The special use permit is requested as an accessory use while constructing oil shale development facilities. Enclosed are fifteen (15) copies of the draft report relating to the development of the santiary landfill. The draft report outlines the general aspects associated with the sanitary landfill, its construction and operation. This report has been prepared for the joint purpose of supporting an application to the Colo- rado Department of Health and to the Garfield County Commissioners.
