Box 1952 Glenwood Springs, CO 81602 Dear Glen: Since your previous verbal inquiry, I discussed this issue with Steve Zwick, former Assistant County Attorney. Please understand, we are only verifying the fact tnat the change of an office use to an apartment use is consistent with tne Special Use permit approved in Resolution No. 8i-182. Both Mr. Zwick and I agreed that tne deletion of one of the approved offices and the replacement of it by.anotner apartment is not inconsistent with the Special Use permit approval. The basis for -this reasoning is the fact that two-family dwellings are a use by rignt in tne C/L zone district and would not be a substantial change in use having more significant impacts. This also assumes that the remodeling work has been done in accordance with the County Building Code and that the appropriate building permits nave been obtained. If you have any additional concerns or questions, feel free to call or write to this office at your convenience. Sincerely, Mark L. I wish to change the use of unit B2 to an apartment without going through the special use process. Most of the preliminary work was done at initial construction of the complex, i.e., shower facilities and stub out for kitchen. There is adequate parking existing to assure a minimum of two spaces per unit. Your prompt attention in this matter would be appreciated. Very truly yours, C. Glen Eash Colo. Lic. No. 175
