NOTICE
Authoritv. This application for a Building Permit must be signed by the Owner of the property, described above, or
an authorized agent. If the signature below is not that of the Owner, a separate letter of authority, signed by the
Ow ner, must be provided with this Application.
1 Legal Access. A Bu ilding Perm it cannot be issued without proof of legal and adequate access to the property for
purposes of inspections by the Bui lding Division .
Other Pe rmits. Multiple separate permits may be required : (1) State Electr ica l Permit, (2) County ISDS Permit, (3)
another permit requi red for u se on the property identified above, e.g. State or County Highway/ Road Access o r a
State Wa stewater Discharge Permit.
Vo id Perm it . A Building Pe r mit becomes null and void if the work authorized is not commenced within 180 days of
the date of issuance and if work is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days after commencement.

data submitted by me or on my beh alf (submittals), ba sed upon my certification as to accuracy. Assuming
completeness of the submittals and approval of this Application, a Bui lding Permit wi ll be i ssue d granting
permission to me, as Owner, to construct the structure(s) and facilities detailed on the submittals reviewed by the
Building Divi sion. In consideration of the iss uance of the Bui lding Permit, I agree that I and my agents wi ll comp ly
I w ith provision s of any federa l, state or loca l law regu lating the work and the Garfield County Bu ilding Code, ISDS
regu lations and applicable land use regu lations (County Regulation(s)). I acknowledg e that the Bui lding Permit
may be suspe nded or revoked, upon notice from t h e County, if the loca tion, construction o r use of the structure(s)
and facility(ies), desc ribed above, are not in compliance with County Regu lation (s) or any other applicable law.
I h e reby grant permissi on to the Building Di vision to enter the property, described above, to inspect the work. I
further acknowledge that the issuance of the Bui ldi ng Permit does not prevent the Bui lding Officia l from: (1)
requiring the correction of errors in the submittals, if any, disc overed after issuance ; or (2) stopping construction

or use of the structure(s) or faci lity(ies ) if such is in violation of County Regu lation(s) or any other app licab le law.
Review of thi s App licati o n, inc lud ing submittals, and inspections of the work by th e Bui lding Di vis ion do not
constitute an ac ceptance of respon sibility or li ability by t he County of errors, omissio ns or disc r epanci es. As the
Owner, I acknowledge that re spon sibility for compliance with f ederal, st ate and loca l laws and Cou n ty Reg u lations
re st with me and my authorized agents, including without limitation my architect designer, engineer and/ or
bui lder.
