The djtch was awarded priority No. i44BB in Cjvil Actjon No. 961'in the D'istrict Court of Garfield Cc.runty, Colorado. The headgate
locatjon is in the 1^1t, of Sectjon 7, T.55. R. 90tJ. of the 6th P.M.
The ditch has historicaliy irrigateo 2.3 acres of pasture land on the
appl icants property. Appl icants hydrologist has calculated that over
the jrrigation season, total diversions have averaged 13.8 af of water.0f this amount, 3.2 af of water per year has been consumptively used
by Appl jcant.

Auqrnentation with the priori+"'ies for the Ditch wil I be accompl ished
only during the histopic jrligation season. Appl jcant intends to aug-
ntent the supply of vrater available to the Marshall Well jn the non-
irrigation seaion by releasing quantjties of water from tlte Marshall
Pond (SEC0ND CLAI14) suffjcient to offset the vrater consumptively
used 'in the non-irrigation seasolr, September through Apri1. This
amount has been calculated to be 0.45 af plus 0.2 af of reservoir
evaporation and transit losses (Totai 0.66 af). The water released
f ront the t1a:^shal I Pond wil I be equal i n tittte and amount to thar water
diverted out-of-priority fronr the llarsha.l I Well. The Marshall Pond
will Store a total of 0.8 af of t^rater via the Barrett No. 2 Ditch
pursuant to a i9.92 priority date. Such r,rater will be stored only when
in priority.
Appl icant intends to use the waters heretofore decreed forirri-
gation purposes to the Barlett I'lo. 2 Ditch for all benefic'ial purposes
including, but not linrited to, domestic, conrnerc'ial , irrjgatjon, fire
protection, recreation and aesthetics.
Appl icant w'ill install and ma'intain such gages and storage
release facjljties as rnay be required by the Divjsjon Engineer to
facilitate the adrnjnstratjon of this p1an.
