The clty of Glenwood sprlngs has several speclflc [uestlons we would llke answered on the proposed water treatment iaclllty to be located on the proPerty above. We fundamentally have no objectlon to this project, hor^rever, we do have some concerns' As you know, we recently approved a 370+ sPaee Rv park dlrectly adjacent to Ehls site. Our concerns include; Where wL11 chlorlne storage be located? How wLLl l-t be secured? What safety provlsl.ons have been taken Ln case of a chlorine leak? Where ls emergency access located? trrlhere w111 discharge ponds be located? We are, of course, especlall-y coneerned that neighboring resldents be protected from any potential hazaxd. We would llke to revlew any plans depictlng answers to the concerns above. Thank you agaln. Inge'lhart is hereby grinted permission to construct and use an access to the state highway at the location noted below. The acces! shall be constructed, maintained and used in accordance with the terms and conditions of this permit, inctuding the State Highway Access Code and listed attachments. This permit may be revoked by the issuing authority if at any time the permitted access and its use violate any of the terms and conditions of this permit. The use of advance warning and construction signs, flashers, barricades and flaggers are required at alltimes during access construction within State right-of-way in conformance with the MANUAL ON UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES, Part Vl. The issuing authority, the Department and theirduly appointed agents and employees shall be held harm less against any action f or personal inju ry or property damage sustained by reason of the exercise of the permit. LOCATION: 0n the north side of State Highway 6, a distance of .1000 feet west from Mile Post ll4; 50633 Highway 6&24. ACCESS TO PROVIDE SERVICE TO: Trash company, approx. and business, approx. 4,000 sq. ft. 2,000 sq. ft., l,later District, approx. 2,160 sq. ft. , OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Permitted as constructed. All construction shall be completed in an expeditious and safe manner and shall be finished within 45 days from initiation. The permitted access shall be comnfrffeO in accordance with the terms and conditions of the permit prior to being used. The permittee shall notify wilh the Colorado Department ol Highways in at at least 48 hours prior to commencing construction within the State Highway right-of-way. The person signing as the permittee must be the owner or legal representative of the propedy served by the permitted access and have full authority to accept the permit and all it's terms and conditions.
