HomeMy WebLinkAbout4.0 Special Use Permit' illlilt ilil ililfl]mil]ffiililill ililll]Illl 648380 O3/L6/2OO4 04:50P 81559 ?27O n ALSDORF 1 of 1 R s.oQ D g.oQ GRRFIELD COUNTY CO SPECIAL USE PERMIT Hoffmaster Family Limited Partnership (Tom Russell) In accordance with and pursuant to the provisions of the Garfield County Zoning Resolution of 1978, as amended, and Resolution No. 2-Q-0.4:-12- of the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, State of Colorado, hereby authorizes, by Special Use Permit, the following activity: THIS FLOODPLAIN SPECIAL USE PERMIT SHALL ALLOWS FOR A BANK STABILIZATION PROJECT ALONG A 150 FOOT SECTION OF THE BANK OF THE ROARING FORK RIVER LOCATED WITHIN THE IOO YEAR FLOODPLAIN WHICH SPECIFICALLY INVOLVES INSTALLII{G A 150 FOOT LONG BOULDER RIP RAP WALL TO PREVENT FURTHER EROSION OF THE SUBJECT PROPERTY AND TO PROTECT THE PRIMARY DWELLING UNIT LOCATED ON THE SUBJECT PROPERTY. THE WALL WILL BE PLACED SO AS TO NOT DECREASE THE EXISTING CONVEYANCE AREA BELOW THE TOP OF THE BANK. THE BANK WILL BE CUTBACK TO PROVIDE FOR PLACEMENT OF RIP RAP AT A 1: I SLOPE. SEDIMENT CONTROL AND FLOW MANAGEMENT PRACTICES WILL BE USED DURING CONSTRUCTION. THE NEW EMBANKMENT WILL BE REVEGETATED WITH WILLOW CUTTINGS AND APPROPRIATE SEED MIXTURES FOR ALL DISTURBED AREAS; AND The Special Use Permit is issued subject to the conditions set forth in the above-mentioned resolution, and shall be valid only during compliance with such conditions and other applicable provisions of the Garfield County ZoningResolution, Subdivision Regulations, Building Code, and other regulations of the noard of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado.
