Legal Description: A parcel of land containing 2.2.6 acres more or less, located in the NE *, Section 2, ThS , R89W of the 6 p.M. Requirements: 1. Plans and specifications for proposed use. 2. Letters of approval from utility companies, sewage and water. Road access and other information deemed necessary. 3. A vicinity map drawn to scale depicting the subject property, location and use of buildings and structures on adjacent lots. 4. An impact statement on the proposed use (see 5.03.07 - 5.03.09 of Zoning Regulations). 5. A copy of Assessor's map showing property; and a listing of all adjoining property owners and property owners within 200 feet of said property. Notice containing information described under paragraph 5 shall be mailed to all owners of record of these lots at least 5 days prior to the hearing by certified return receipt mail. 6. Notice including the name of the applicant, description of the subject lot, a description of the proposed special use and the time and place for the hearing shall be given in the newspaper of general circulation in that portion of the County at least fifteen (15) days prior to such hearing time. Applicant shall bear the cost of advertising. 7. A fee of $500.00 shall be charged for each application and shall be sub- mitted with the application. This Special Use Permit is in compliance with Sections 5.03and 9.03 of the Garfield County Zoning Resolution and as per application. The plant will be located at the No Name rest area pit owned by the Colorado Division of Highways, approximately three miles East of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. A.) Access - Colorado Project No. I 70-2M119 is located adjacent to the plant location. A majority of concrete shipment will be by haul road constructed on the project. Other access will use the No Name Interchange and State Highway No. 70. B.) Utilities - No public utilities will be involved. Electricity will be by portable generator,water will be imported by water truck, portable sanitary facilities will be located at the plant. C.) Plant Specifications - The plant is a Ross 100, with a cement silo and aggregate batch bins. Height of silo is approx- mately 20 feet. D.) Operation - The plant will be in operation from October 1, 1981 to July 15, 1982. Use of the plant will be during normal working hours Monday thru Friday during said period. Normal use will involve four to five loads batched daily at the plant with a maximum of thirty loads per day. Conclusion - The plant has all required EPA attachments and does not exceed EPA noise levels.
