At a reqular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners for Garf,reld County,
Colorado, held in the Commissioners' Meeting Room, Garfield County Courthouse, in Glenwood
Springs e1 Monday the lOth day of uay A.D. 19 93 , there were

when the lollowing proceedings, among others were had and done, to-wit:
RESOLUTION NO. 93-036
A RESOLUTION CONCERNED WITH THE APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL USE PERMITAPPLICATION FOR CHARLES AND VIVIAN GRIFFIN.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, has received
application from Charles and Vivian Giffrn for allowing a guest house on the following described
tracts of land:
Located in the NWl/4 Swl/4 SEl/4 of Section 33, T5S, R92w of the 6th p.M., being the same
as Tract 52 as shown on the Antlers Orchard Development Company's plat #l recorded July
23, lg0g;
(in the state of colorado and the county of Garfield); and
WHEREAS, the Board held a public hearing on the lgth day ofApril 1993, upon the question
of whether the above-described Special Use Permit should be granted or denied, at which hearing thepublic and interested persons were given the opportunity to express their opinions regarding theissuance of said Special Use permit; and
WHEREAS, the Board on the basis of substantial competent evidence proiluced at theaforementioned hearing, has made the following determination of fact:
1' That proper publication and public notice was provided as required by law for the
hearing before the Board of County Commissioners.

1978, as amended.
For the above stated and other reasons, the proposed use is in the best interest of the
health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity and welfare of the citizens of
Garfield County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Garlield
County, Colorado, that the Special Use Permit be and hereby is authorized permitting the use of the
above described tract of land for a guest house, upon the following specific conditions:
1. AII proposals of the applicant shall be considered conditions of approval unless stated
otherwise by the Board of County Commissioners.
The applicant shall have 360 days from the date of the Resolution of Conditional
Approval to meet all conditions set forth in the Resolution. The Special Use permit
shall be issued when all conditions are met and shall expire 360 days after issuance,
un-less construction or use have commenced.
The length of stay of a guest shall be limited to thirty (30) days unless said guests are the
grandparents, parents, siblings or children of the occupants of the primary structure.
