Lazrer for a Special Use Permit fSUP") to allow for storage ofoil and gas drilling equipment and storage or material handling ofnatural resources in the A/RIRD (Agricultural / Residential I Rural Density); and WHERBAS, th SUP will b conduced at aproperty tocated 1 mitre south ot'tk Garfreld County airport on County Ro ad3l9 md Grass Mesa Road, Garfield County, Colorado also in the S 7z of the SE t/o, section 23 and theN % of the NE 1/4, Section 26, Township 6 South, Range 93 West, of the 6e Principle Meridian, and owned by Robert T. The meeting before the Bomd of County Commissioners was extensive and complete, thatall pertinent facts, matters and issues were submitted and that all interested parties were heard at that meeting 3. The above stated and other reasons, the proposed special use permit has been determined to be inthe best interest ofthe health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperityandwelfrre' ofthe citize,ns of Garfield County. 4. TheapplicationhasmettherequirementsofSpecialUse(Sections5:03,5:03:07,5:03-08and 9:03) the Garfield County l,sning Resolution of 1978. NOW T11EREEORE, BE IT' R.ESOL\IBD by the Eloard, of Cowrty Comnissioners of Garfieu County, Colorado, that Special Use Permit is hereby approved zubject to compliance with all ofthe following specffi c conditions: Staff recomrrends Approval, with the following conditions: 1. All representations of the Applican! either within the application or stated at the meeting before the Board of Cognty Cornrnissioners, shall be considered conditions of approvaf unless specificalXy altered bythe Board- Z. The Applicant shall comply with all applicable requirements of the Garfield Co'unty /6ning Resolution of 1978, as arnended. The Applicant shall comply with all State and Federal regulations and standards, such as Noise Abaiemen! Water andAir Quality. 4- Vfrr,ation, emission of slnoke amd particutra,te rnat'ter, alrd the ennission of,heat or radiation shall comply with applicable Federa! State, and County laws, regutrations and standards- 5. Any signage installed on-site shall comply with the County's sign regulations. 6- Any changes to the Special Use Fermit for all uses as listed in the application as mnded and the exhibits as attached shaltr require a new Special Use Permit T.shallprovidetheGarfieldCountyBuildingandPlanningDeparhentwithan upaated siteplanandanamendmentto theapplication showing intendednumber ofbuildings and employee numbers as requested and shown throughout this report- 8. The Applicant shall provide the Colorado Department of Health and Environmen! Water Quality-Con1ol Division with information and analysis as per the "l'{ew'Water System Planning Maouaf regarding the type of'wail.er qystem the proposal witl be r.rsing- Approval shall be gained from said agencn or a letter indicatirg the SIIP proposal is exenrpt fromthis Staterequiremeot, andshallbe sentto the GarfieldCountyBuilding andPlanningDepartment before issuance of the Special Use Permit. 9. For each of the 2 acre building envelopes the use shall allow only one (1) building for storage of oil and gas industry related vehicles of'various size, related to the oil and gas industry, a repair sho'p md rnaistenance facilities, materials related to the oit and gas industry in a warehouse, and office facilities as noted in the appiication and consented to in the meetings'oefore the BOCC. On site sales shall notbe allowed- 16.
