When reviewing a plan and it's discovered that required information has not been provided by the applicant, this will result in the delay of the permit issuance and in proceeding with building construction. The owner or contractor shall be required to provide this information before the plan review can proceed. Other plans that are in line for review may be given attention before the new information may be reviewed after it has been provided to the Building Department. PIease review this document to determine if you have enough information to design your project and provide adequate information to facilitate a plan review. Also, please consider using a design professional for assistance in your design and a construction professional for construction of your project. Any project with more than ten (10) occupants requires the plans to be sealed by a Colorado Registered Design Professional. To provide for a more understandable plan in order to determine compliance with the building, plumbing and mechanical codes, applicants are requested to review the following checklist prior to and during design. Inc. perforated subsurface exploration for evaluation of potential subsidence at the subject site. The evaluation was conducted in accordance with our agreement fist geotecltuacal engineering services to Iron1.'ridge Homes, I LC dated January 21, 2005. The data obtained and our current fincfinu, of future subsidence potential are presented in this report Previous Geotechnical Study: I•Iepworth-Pawlak Geotechnical previously c;onducted subsurface exploration for the subdivision development and presented our findings in a report dated September 10, 1998, Joh No. 197 327. The exploration identified the shallow subsurface conditions for foundation design in the arca of Lot 106, "1 he eon ent study was performed to evaluate the deeper subsurface materials for facture subsidence potential rclared to the underlying Eagle Valley Evaporite• Subsurface Conditions: One exploratory boring was drilled within the bifiidi>n. envelope nn the lot as shown cm Figure 1. The log of the baring is presented on Figure 2, The subsoils below about 2 feet of debris fan soils consist of dense, river grovel alluvium to a depth of 14 feet overlying claystone/siltsione of the Eagle valley Evaporite. The drilling conditions indicate that the subsurface materials are corripetcnt for rl►e residence support and no voids were encountered to the drilled depth of 18 feet Future Subsidence Potential: Cagle Valley Evaporite uoderlics the Tronbridge Development and is known to be associated with sinkholes and localived ground subsidence in the Roaring Fork River valley. A sinkhole was identified clurin,2 our p evious study for the subdivision development that is located within a !airway ;thrid 700 feet w the west of the subject lot. indications of ground subsidence were not Wenn fled prior to development in the area of the lot, and voids that could indicate rr ri of Ratite ground subsidence were not encountered in the boring chilled on the lot. hi our opinion, the risk of future ground subsidence on Lot ] 06 throughout the set vice.
