Village Excavating installed the system. The existing 1500-gallon, two-compartment septic tank remained in use and was in good condition. The existing absorption area was abandoned in-place. The installation included a new distribution box and four rows of 14 ARC ADS chambers for a total of 56 chambers and 691 square feet of infiltrative area (using 12.34 square feet per chamber). The chamber bed was placed on 6-inches of ASTM C33 concrete sand. During a site visit on October 27, 2014, measurements were taken from the house to the observation port at the end of the field. The outline of the house on the site plan is inconsistent with the actual house footprint. Dimensions on the record drawing and the representation of the house and deck footprint are to the were documented during our site visit,, but are not a result of a survey. The septic tank lids and distribution box were not accessible from grade; therefore, these components were not accurately measured for the record drawing. We recommend bringing these components to grade for better accessibility. The OWTS was generally installed according to specifications. This observation is not a guarantee of workmanship and/or parts and materials. ALL SERVICE septic, LLC should be notified if changes are made to the OW TS in the future. Any additional OWTS construction must be according to the county regulations. LIMITS: Observations are limited to components that are visible at the time of the inspection. The installer must have documented and demonstrated knowledge of the requirements and regulations of the county in which they are working. The quality of the installation is dependent of the expertise of the installer, soil type, and weather conditions. Please call with questions.
