As you will recall from our last discussion and our follow-up letter, BMI will have to approve the easement location, and we also want to work with the gas gathering company to develop and approve a gathering system within the PUD. We will review, coordinate and approve such a system just as we have all other utility systems within the project. For the particular pipeline and metering station proposed we are ready to work with your client to arrive at an acceptable route; however, we cannot approve the routing shown. Please contact me or have your client contact me to set up a meeting to resolve this matter. KBS:ib cc: W. S. Gibbons L. Q. Dickens Gary Johnson Dennis St anger Bowman V J. Bozzell L. J. Battlement Mesa, Inc., does not oppose the request. Representatives from Northwest Pipeline and BMI walked and located the route together during a field trip. We are in agreement on the route shown on the attached exhibit. We are still processing the easement provided by Northwest Exploration and it will include a provision for revegetation to BMI's requirements. In addition to the revegetation, BMI representatives will be working with NW Pipeline's construc- tion force to protect all possible trees along the pipeline. Finally, the proposed route is compatible with the Battlement Mesa master plan and the proposed neighborhood plan for Area 6. If you have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to call me. Very truly yours, Karl B. Stauss Planning & Design Coordinator KBS:ib cc: Montoya (NW Pipeline) D. Stranger J.
