Underhill Excavating installed the system. The plumbing in the commercial warehouse building includes two toilets, two lavatories, one shower, a kitchen sink, a dishwasher, and a washing machine for use by eight, 8-hour office shift employees and two field employees. We highly recommended installation of a flow meter to monitor actual flows into the OWTS. No floor drains are discharged into the OWTS. The OWTS is designed to accommodate domestic wastewater only, using an estimated design flow of 270 gallons per day. The installation included a new 1000-gallon, two-compartment concrete septic tank with an H-20 rated lid for installation under the existing driveway and an effluent filter on the outlet tee, followed by an additional 500-gallon dosing chamber with an H-20 rated lid and an Orenco® 300 series dosing siphon. The effluent filter in the first septic tank and screen around the dosing siphon should be cleaned annually, or as needed. The soil treatment area (STA) consists of an 8’ x 41’ area with twelve-inches of concrete sand (ASTM 33) and three rows of 10 Eljen® A42 Modules connected with a level manifold. A geotextile fabric covers the sand and modules. The plumbing into septic tanks and placement of the chambers was not entirely com plete at the time of the observations. Additional photographs were provided by the installer after placement of the modules. The OWTS was generally installed according to specifications. This observation is not a guarantee of workmanship and/or parts and materials. ALL SERVICE septic, LLC should be notified if changes are made to the OW TS in the future. Any additional OWTS construction must be according to the county regulations. LIMITS: Observations are limited to components that are visible at the time of the inspection. The installer must have documented and demonstrated knowledge of the requirements and regulations of the county in which they are working. The quality of the installation is dependent of the expertise of the installer, soil type, and weather conditions. Please call with questions.
