Our final inspection on this property cited several minor problems which we understood would be corrected. The most important of which remains uncorrected. Uniform Building Code requires that the roof gas vent be a minimum of two feet above any roof or wall surface that is within ten feet of the vent. The vent on the roof of this structure is much closer to anything within ten feet of it and needs to be corrected. Our inspectors verbal agreement with your staff was that the gas vent problem would be corrected prior to the home being occupied. Please have this correction made and advise us as soon as it is done.
