The OWTS was sized to accommodate a 5-bedroom residence. Avalanche Excavation installed the system. The existing OWTS was properly abandoned. A new 1250-gallon, two-compartment Roth® septic tank, followed by a new 500-gallon, Roth® pump vault with an Orenco® Biotube pump vault and PF3005 pump was installed. Both the residence and shop are plumbed into the 1250-gallon septic tank. Effluent is dosed through a 1.5-inch diameter pump line to a new distribution box, accessible from grade. From the distribution box, effluent gravity flows to four new gravelless chamber beds, each with 2 rows of 11 ‘Quick 4’ Infiltrator® chambers for a total of 88 chambers and 1056 square feet of infiltrative area. Inspection ports were installed at the beginning and end of each bed. Chambers were installed at native grade in order to obtain a 4-foot separation to high groundwater. Backfill over the chambers was a minimum of 1-foot over the chambers, graded to deflect precipitation. Native vegetation over the STA must be established to prevent erosion. The STA must be protected from any traffic from the gravel drive. The OWTS was generally installed according to specifications. This observation is not a guarantee of workmanship and/or parts and materials. ALL SERVICE septic, LLC should be notified if changes are made to the OW TS in the future. Any additional OWTS construction must be according to the county regulations. LIMITS: Observations are limited to components that are visible at the time of the inspection. The installer must have documented and demonstrated knowledge of the requirements and regulations of the county in which they are working. The quality of the installation is dependent of the expertise of the installer, soil type, and weather conditions.
