RE: Building Permit at 4470 CR 100, Carbondale, Colorado
Dear Brad,
In follow up to several conversations with the Planning and Building Department, your building
permit at 4470 CR 100 is for a personal use accessory building to a single family dwelling only. Any
commercial use of the property would require a review and possibly a land use permit from the
county. There are not any guarantees that these future land use permits would be issued by the
county. They involve public hearings that end up in a denial of the use, approval of the proposed
use, or approval with conditions.
It is important that you understand the land use permitting process before you spend money for a
building use that may not be approved in the future. If your end goal is simply a building to be used
for personal non commercial use, you presently have a permit to build that building. Please call if
