Per our discussion during the site visit, I am attaching revised drawing sheets S2 (Main Floor) and S6 (Details)
that address the following areas:
1. The revisions that were made to the steel at the living room.
2. The corner post at the entry was omitted. The cantilevered 3-11 7/8" LVL beam is capable of carrying the
load but the "K" hanger is inadequate. Detail 13/S6 shows a bracket that will enhance the capacity of the
connection.
3. In the mechanical room, holes for a gas line were drilled too close to the bottom of several rafters. Please
install LSTA12 straps to the bottom of the rafters. Keep nails at least 2 inches away from the edge of hole on
each side.
4. Detail 12/S6 shows a new 4 ft. x 6 ft. shed roof along the back, supported with a beam/brace system. This
has not yet been constructed.
