Balconies and decks over 30" high must be constructed to all me and IRC requirements including guardrails. 6) Outside grading completed so that water slopes away from the building; 7) Exceptions to the outside steps, decks, grading may be made upon the demonstration of extenuating circumstances., i.e. weather.
