Please see the attachments for the accessibility requirements. We also reviewed the plans and contents of the permit file to verify agency final approval. A list of items to be completed are noted as follows. 1) Address must be posted at the property access points and on the building as discussed on site. 2) Fire district final approval letter is required. 3) Engineer's final approval letter required for the septic, potable water storage tank, and sand -oil separator installation. 4) Provide a copy of the high strength bolting/field welding report which was provided to you on site. 5) Provide a van accessible parking space, markings, and signage as discussed on site. See attachments for details. 6) Provide accessible signage for men and women restrooms. 7) Remove vanity and provide an accessible lavatory in the women's toilet room. 8) Verify walls and partitions within 2 ft of toilets and urinals have a smooth, hard, nonabsorbent surface extending 4 ft above the floor. 9) Provide a seal around toilet room fixtures. 10) Provide accessible door hardware on all common use doors, such as toilet rooms, access and exits, and conference rooms. 11) Building plans indicate exit door #13, between the offices, should swing out to meet the maneuvering clearance for swinging doors. It was noticed that the door swings inward, which requires an 18 inch clearance space parallel to doorway beyond the latch for a forward approach. As the hallway walls are built, reversing the door swing outward will eliminate the need for maneuvering clearance space. 12) Repair the exhaust vent piping and gas supply line on the northeast shop heater. 13) Remove dust covers from smoke detector/alarms. 14) Complete threshold installation at door to upper level storage(at exterior stair). 15) Provide a landing at the parts room exterior door. We look forward to the completion of your project and will assist anyway we can. Please feel free to forward any questions or concerns. Regards, Dave 1
