Andy,
They have satisfactorily completed all items from the fire inspection that we did on September 13, 2012. The fire alarm
system is back on line and functional. The rooms that they will not be occupying or storing anything in include: the entire
2nd floor, the entire "lock down" area, the 3 rooms north of the kitchen (no cooking in the kitchen), the one room off
the dining area and the 2 rooms on either side of the unisex bathroom on the south hallway. They have done an
outstanding job in getting everything done!

Andy,
conducted my re -inspection today and although they have done a lot of stuff and were commended for the work they
have done, they still have numerous important items to correct.
I have a re -inspection scheduled for 10/19/12 at 15:00. This schedule depends on when and what the electrician and fire
alarm company has to do to correct some of the problems. I will keep you posted

Andy,
We conducted our annual fire inspection at Rios De Aqua Viva yesterday. The following items were found that conflict
with the agreement that we had with the new owner back in October 2011for the use of the building:
• Rooms that were designated not to be used are being used for storage, nursery and have furniture in them for
other uses.
• Two rooms on the second floor are being used as sleeping quarters- no use of second floor was to be allowed
• Fire alarm system is disconnected, not being maintained and is in alarm and trouble.
• Doors to upstairs and other areas not to be used are not labeled or secured from use
• Removal of combustibles has not happened in unoccupied areas. There is also construction debris piled under
the second story stairs and against the south side of the building
In addition, there are numerous open wiring, holes in drywall, fire extinguisher not serviced since 2009, and exit and
emergency lights not working. Although not a fire code, the concrete cap for access to the septic tank was off and
open.(we put it back on).
After a long conversation with Pastor Machado and the use of a fire district interpreter we agreed on the following:
• Pastor Machado committed to have all items corrected by 10/10/12.
• A fire prevention safety talk for all users will take place this Sunday at 16:00. It appears that we will be able to
have a fire district interpreter present.
• Since this building is infrequently used (unoccupied) a fire watch has not been instituted at this time.
Since the county issues C of 0 and my understanding is that they have a building permit that is up for renewal, it is
important that you weigh in on this property. Attached is some of the correspondence that we have had on this
property.
