The girts at the 3'-8', 7'-4", 9'-4", 11'-4", and 13'-8" elevations may be field cut to install this opening. Additional bracing for the bottom flange of the eave strut in the form of an 1/8"x2"x2" angle fastened to the bottom flange of the eave strut and the first two purlins upslope with three 112 self drilling screws is required. This brace should be located on the eave strut at the jamb near the middle of the bay. The eave strut at the jamb nearest the rigid frame does not require additional bracing. A suggested detail of this bracing is attached. Respectfully submitted, kLiitec,A. David M. Woebbecke, P.E.
