Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) Installation Observations
72 Hidden Springs
Garfield County, Colorado
Permit Number SEPT-4-15-3604
William,
ALL SERVICE septic, LLC observed the installation of the onsite wastewater treatment system (OW TS)
on June 29, 2015 for the subject property. The legal description of the property is Lot 13, Mountain
Springs Ranch. Walters Company installed the system.
A clean out was installed on the east side of the residence. A 1500-gallon, three-compartment septic
tank with an Orenco® Effluent Filter on the outlet tee of the second compartment and a 300 series
Orenco® dosing siphon in the third compartment was installed. The effluent filter must be cleaned
annually, or as needed. The siphon was set to discharge approximately 100 gallons per dose.
Effluent is dosed to a distribution box, accessible from grade. The distribution box distributes effluent
evenly to three gravelless chamber trenches, each with 15 ‘Quick 4’ Infiltrator® chambers. There was at
least 6-feet of undisturbed soil between each trench. Depth of the trench installation was below the clay
layer, with no trench being greater than 4-feet below grade. Inspection ports were placed at the
beginning and end of each trench.
The OWTS was generally installed according to specifications. This observation is not a guarantee of
workmanship and/or parts and materials. ALL SERVICE septic, LLC should be notified if changes are
made to the OW TS in the future. Any additional OWTS construction must be according to the county
regulations.
LIMITS:
Observations are limited to components that are visible at the time of the inspection. The installer must
have documented and demonstrated knowledge of the requirements and regulations of the county in
which they are working. The quality of the installation is dependent of the expertise of the installer, soil
type, and weather conditions.
Please call with questions.
Sincerely,
