When reviewing a plan and it's discovered that required information has not been provided by the applicant, this will result in the delay of the permit issuance and in proceeding with building construction. The owner or contractor shall be required to provide this information before the plan review can proceed. Other plans that are in line for review may be given attention before the new information may be reviewed after it has been provided to the Building Depatiment. Please review this document to determine if you have enough information to design your project and provide adequate information to facilitate a plan review. Also, please consider using a design professional for assistance in your design and a construction professional for construction of your project. Any project with more than ten (10) occupants requires the plans to be sealed by a Colorado Registered Design Professional. To provide for a more understandable plan in order to determine compliance with the building, plumbing and mechanical codes, applicants are requested to review the following checklist prior to and during design. Applicants are required to indicate appropriately and to submit the completed checklist at time of application for a permit. We o bserved the exterior wall sheathin g and house wrap at this resid e nce. The sheathing s hows evidence o f minor weathering and water exposure. W e o bserved a couple location s th at should be ren ai led due to shiners o r minor seam di s pl acement; however there appears to be in s uffi cient distress due to weathering and/or moisture exposu re warrant stru ctura l concern. No replaceme nt or repair to the exterior sh eathing is necessary. In certain areas the h o use wrap has becom e separated from the structure and has become damaged and severely wrinkled. This wrap is to be replaced and can no t be rei ns tall ed. The remaining house wrap appears adequate. T he window waterproofi ng m e mbrane appears to be s uffi cient in most locat io ns. In some cases where th e membrane has b ecome separated from the ho use w rap or furth er da maged , the membrane should be replaced . We a lso o bs erved water di scolo rati on to the ends of several ex posed truss tail s. Again thi s disco loration appears s uperficial and does no t present a s tructural concern.
