Permanent address assigned by Garfield County Building Department posted where readily visible from access road; 3. A finished roof, a lockable house, complete exterior siding, exterior doors and windows installed, a complete kitchen with cabinets, a sink with:hot & cold•mnning water, non-absorbent kitchen floor coverings, counter tops and finished walls, ready for stove and refrigerator, all necessary plumbing; 4. A complete bathroom, with washbowl, tub or shower, toilet stool, hot and cold running water, non-absorbent floors and walls finished and a privacy door; 5. All steps outside or inside over three (3) steps must have handrails, guard rails on balconies or decks over 30" high constructed to all 1997 UBC requirements; 6. Outside grading done to where water will detour away from the building; 7. Exceptions to the outside steps, decks and grading may be made upon the demonstration of extenuating circumstances, i.e. weather, but a Certificate of Occupancy will not be issued until all the required items are completed and a final inspection made. Uniform Building code requires that a final inspection be performed op building permit 8738 for a sign that was erected on the property. During an attempted final inspection on 11/24/03 a collection notice was left, indicating that the building permit was not available on site for our inspectors, that engineering approval of the foundation system for the sign is required by this office and that a reinspection fee needs to be paid. A copy of that correction notice is attached for your convenience. We have not heard from anyone about this since then. It is a violation of Colorado Revised Statutes 30-28-205 & 210, Uniform Building Code as adopted by Garfield County Zoning resolution of 1978, to put this sign into use without a final inspection. You are hereby given notice, pursuant to the above statutes and regulations, that you must completely correct the violations within thirty (30) days of the date this notice is received. Please be advised that violation of the above statues is a misdemeanor crime punishable, upon conviction, by a fine of not more than $100.00 or imprisonment for not more than ten days, or both, and that each day that the violation continues is deemed to be a separate offense.
