The above underpinning project has been successfully completed unitizing six push piers as were shown on the
Proposed Piering Plan that was submitted on October 3, 2015, and a copy of which is included herein. There is
no need to prepare a layout showing the final location of the piers since the piers were installed within a few
inches of the original plan.
The SW comer was lifted about 1-3/4" and the SW comer bedroom is essentially level after the lift. The lift area,
including the SW comer bedroom, the adjacent bathroom and the other bedroom, are now within ±1/4" in
elevation. The windows operate properly. The doors to these three rooms close but the two bedroom doors do not
latch. These latch plates will need to be adjusted.
The pre-lift and post-lift elevation surveys are attached. The post-lift elevation survey can be used as a
benchmark for future reference.
The push piers were installed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and specifications. The
lift was successfully accomplished in a proper manner by personnel from Foundation Repair of Western
Colorado (FRWC). The SW comer is deemed to be stable. Keep in mind that proper drainage away from the
house is extremely important for stabilization of foundation structures.
