I have reviewed the structural conditions for the above project with regard to the frost protection depth for conformity with the structural engineering regulations and requirements for material of construction in the 1994 UBC and Garfield County regulations. The frost depth at 36" is UBC and Garfield County compliant; and, has been designed in accordance with generally accepted structural engineering principals and standards of practices in this area at this time. Delays in issuing the permit are to be expected. Work may not proceed without the issuance of a permit.
