The following items are required by Garfield County for a final inspection: 1. A final EIectrical Inspection from the Colorado State Electrical Inspector; 2. Permanent address assigned by Garfield County Building Department posted where readily visible from access road; 3. A finished roof, a lockable house, complete exterior siding, exterior doors and windows installed, a complete kitchen with cabinets, a sink with hot & cold running water, non-absorbent kitchen floor coverings, counter tops and finished walls, ready for stove and refrigerator, all necessary plumbing; 4. A complete bathroom, with washbowl, tub or shower, toilet stool, hot and cold running water, non-absorbent floors and walls finished and a privacy door; 5. All steps outside or inside over three (3) steps must have handrails, guard rails on balconies or decks over 30" high constructed to all 1994 UBC requirements; 6. Outside grading done to where water will detour away from the building; 7. Exceptions to the outside steps, decks and grading may be made upon the demonstration of extenuating circumstances, i.e. weather, but a Certificate of Occupancy will not be issued until all the required items are completed and a final inspection made. LAUTERBACH DATE: FEBRUARY 2S, 2002 RE: BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATION TRACT A, CLUB VILLA, ASPEN GLEN COTTAGE #3 PAGES: 7 LNCLUDING COVER Enclosed per your application requirements are the following items 1. Two sets stamped structural engineered drawings. 2. Two sets architectural plans including floorplans, elevations, siteplan, & landscape plan. 3. Door schedule. 4. Window schedule. 5. Roof rafter venting diagram. 6. Building permit application Other items to be addressed would include the following items. 1. An application for subdivision of the 2.8 acre Tract A, Club Villa site at Aspen Glen is currently being considered for approval by Garfield County. As a requirement of subdivision approval, a complete utility plan has been submitted. Following approval of that plan, water, sewer, gas, electrical, TV, and phone lines will be connected to the residence per the approved subdivision utility plan. 2. Crawl space ventilation per U.B.C. guidelines will be addressed prior to a framing inspection after the volume of the crawl space has been determined. 3. The living room fireplace will be a wood burning fireplace converted to natural gas log use. The master bedroom fire lace will be a direct wall vent natural gas appliance. A sing e natural gas boiler and two 50 gallon natural gas hot water heaters will be located within the mechanical room. The mechanical room floor will be elevated so that any flame devices within the boiler or hot water heater are at least 18" off the garage floor elevation. The boiler and water heaters will be approved for wall venting. Combustion air will be provided either through the garage volume or by high and low outside wall sources within the mechanical room. .Page 2, Application for Building Permit, Cottage #3, Aspen Glen 5. Final Aspen Glen Design Review Board approval will be received the first week of March. agree to pay the plan check fee prior to receipt of this approval and understand that the fee will not be refunded. 6. Shed roofs which butt and attach to second floor walls will be vented at the wall as well as at the soffit. At the wall, a Flash Filter Vent which is made by Air Vent, Inc. will be installed.
