As you are aware, the Board of County Qsmmissioners made a motion to approve the amended
plat application on your property,Lot2 of Elder Subdivision, on Marchll,2002. The Plat has
now been sent down to Saur Phelps, Garfield County Surveyor, for accuracy verification.
Historically, there has been a one week turn-around time within this stage of the process. Once
Sarn determines plat accuracy, your surveyor will be contacted with forwarding information and
a mylar form of the plat will be submitted to our office to obtain the appropriate signatures.

Amended Plat
This is a request to amend the Plat for Lot 2 of Elder Subdivision. The parcel is located
at a TBD address on Surrey Street.
The owners of the parcel, Paul and Heidi Wade, would like to move the location of the
wetlands bourdary on their lot due to recently acquired information from the U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers. The applicant has provided a letter from the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers stating that the building envelope of Lot Z,F,lder Subdivision has jwisdictional
wetlands within the boundary. As can be seen on the Plat provided the wetlands
delineation affects the preexisting building envelope in a very minor way.
As the applicant is coming forward to amend the Plat to show the most current site
infonnation, Staffis in support of this amendment. Planning Stafftherefore recommends
that the Board of County Commissioners approve this amended plat request.
