It is not known if the Grand Valley Fire Department includes both male and female staff and/or volunteers. 2 A2 & ME Toilet Rm. Accessibility: The toilet room Indicated does not comply with ICC/ANSI A117.1. The electric heater appears to have reduced the area available for the wheelchair turning space. The water closet does not scale at 18 inches from the wall to the centerline of the WC. The lavatory is indicated to be within the water closet clear space. Please see the Accessible Facilities portion of the Plan Analysis for additional information and code reference. 3 A2 Mezzanine: The cross section indicates that the joists above the office, toilet room and storage room are covered with T&G plywood sheathing. This indicates that the area will be used for storage. The Architect wi11 need to verify a uniform load of a minimum of 125 pounds per square foot. No stair is indicated to access this area. Errors which cannot be corrected by the foregoing means or which require major changes in member configuration are to be reported irnmediotely to R.B.S.I. by the BUYER/END USE CUSTOMER, to enable whoever is responsible either to correct the error or to approve the most efficient and economic method of correction to be used by others. Whenever such work Is specified, the BUYER/END USE CUSTOMER is responsible for furnishing complete information as to moteriols, size, location and number of alterations prior to preparotion of shop drawings. Bath lend and copper have harmful corrosive effects on the Golvolume ahoy coating when they are in contact with Galvolume steel panels.
