PROJECT AREA IS EQUAL TO THE ESTIMATED TOTAL AREA OF DISTURBANCE WHICH IS 31.2 ACRES. THE TOTAL AREA TO BL RE -VEGETATED IS APPROXIMATELY 2.9 ACRES.
5. ACCORDING TO THE NRCS WEB SITE, THE UPPER LAYER OF SOIL PRESENT AT THE PROJECT SITE CONSISTS OF ARVADA LOAM (1 TO 6% SLOPES), HALAQUEPTS (NEARLY LEVEL), AND OLNEY LOAM (3 TO
6% SLOPES). THESE SOILS HAVE A HYDROLOGIC SOIL CLASSIFICATION OF B TO D (MODERATE TO HIGH RUNOFF POTENTIAL), THE WHOLE SOIL EROSION K FACTOR FOR THESE SOILS IS BETWEEN 0.24 AND
0.37, MEANING THIS SOIL IS MILD TO MODERATELY EROSIVE.
6. EXISTING VEGETATION ON THE SITE INCLUDES VARIOUS GRASSES AND HIGH DESERT VEGETATION (SAGE, RABBIT BRUSH, ETC.). UNDISTURBED PORTIONS OF THE SITE ARE APPROXIMATELY 75% VEGETATED.
