I received the attached letter yesterday in regards to the following building permits: A . BLC0-12-14 -3 492-Freezer/Refrigerator Unit B. BLC0-12-14-3493-Generator Skid C. BLC0 -12-14-3494-Camp-6 units D. SEPT-1-15-3497-On-site wastewater treatment system WPX Energy is in the process of determining when construction of the Trail Ridge Employee Housing Facility will occur. The low price of natural gas, and other factors, have delayed the construction of the Trail Ridge Employee Housing facility. An extension of the permits would maintain the plan preparation and engineering conducted by WPX Energy, the Ga rfie ld Cou nty Pla n Rev iew, and t he pl a n review fees paid for by WPX Energy. We would respectfully request a 180 day extension of the 4 building permits listed above. Thank you and please contact me with questions. As per the 2009 International Building Code. Section R105.3.2: An application for a permit for any proposed work shall be deemed to have been abandoned 180 days after the date of filing unless such application has been pursued in good faith or a permit has been issued .... Please be advised, building permits are deemed active for 180 days from date of issuance, and will remain active for 180 days from the date of an inspection. If no activity occurs within the 180 days, the permit will be deemed expired. As per the 2009 International Building Code, Section Rl05 .5. the building official may grant one or more extensions oftime. for no more than 180 days each. The extension shall be requested in writing and Justifiable cause demonstrated. In hopes of issuing your permit, please contact us within ten ( l 0) business days of the date of this letter regarding your application.
