All steps outside or inside over three (3) steps must have handrails, guard rails on balconies or decks over 30" high constructed to all 1994 UBC requirements; 6. Outside grading done to where water will detour away from the building; 7. Exceptions to the outside steps, decks and grading may be made upon the demonstration of extenuating circumstances, i.e. weather, but a Certificate of Occupancy will not be issued until all the required items are completed and a final inspection made. Slobs, topping, footings, beams, and walls shall not hove joints in a horizontal plane. Any stop in concrete work must be made at center of span with verticol bulkheads and horizontal keys, unless otherwise shown. All construction joints shall be as detailed or as approved by Engineer. D. All concrete work and reinforcement detailing shall be in accordance with ACI 318-89 Building Code. Unless noted otherwise, all permonently exposed edges of concrete work shall have a 3/4" chamfer. E. No concrete is to be poured on frozen soil, and oll footings, pads, and foundations must be adequately protected from freezing during and after pouring of concrete. F. Ali exposed concrete shall be covered with 2 mil. PVC or curing compound. G. The contractor shall be responsible for taking concrete samples and shall provide Engineer with copies of the test results. 4. REINFORCEMENT: A. Reinforcing shall be high strength deformed bars ASTM designation A615 Grade 60, except ties, stirrups, and where designated by engineer. All other reinforcing shall be deformed bars ASTM designation A615 Grode 40. See note 30 above. B.
