RE: Underpinning (Piering) Project -Final Report
20 Silver Mountain Drive
Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
The attached drawing, "Post-Lift Elevations", depicts the final elevations as a result of the lift on March
I 6, 2016. Please note that the garage elevations are separate from those at the house.
The area of the house east of line A-A shows that this major portion of the house is within ±112" of being
level. The south wall is within ±1/4". The center of the house over the concrete stem wall is ±112"
east/west. The west wall is also ±112".
Notice that the north/south elevations east of line A-A show a :l:l/8" between the north and south walls,
including those elevations over the center stem wall.
Comparing the post-lift elevations to the pre-lift elevations, the NE comer, the lowest area of the house,
was raised .:1::1-1/2". The NW comer remains the high area and indicates the steepest gradient west of line
A-A.
The garage still displays some elevation difference but the magnitude of the difference is quite less than
before the lift. Prior to the lift the difference in elevation between the high and low areas was 2-112",
while the post-lift elevation difference is 3/4", still being low at the NE comer. The front of the garage is
still within ±114", but now being higher at the NW comer.

The objective was to attain an elevation at the perimeter foundation walls as near as possible to the
elevation over the center stem wall. This was attained as seen by the elevations shown in the "Post-Lift
Elevations" drawing that is attached. leaving the NW comer as the highest elevation.
The perimeter foundation walls are deemed to be stabilized. The push piers were installed in accordance
with the manufacturer's recommendations and specifications. The lift was accomplished in a proper
manner by personnel from Foundation Repair of Western Colorado (FRWC).
Please call me with any questions you might have.
Respectfully submitted,
Guy~~~
