HomeMy WebLinkAboutHOA Variance RequestsASPENT BUILT 'HOMES General Contractors Variance request Client: Doug and Beth Leyva Date: 5/ 10/ l 6 Project: Lot 3-4 Mile Ranch 482 Redcliff Circle Architect: Axis Productions We hereby request the following variance; We are requesting a variance in the DRC guidelines for the Leyva residence with regards to floor ratios from first floor to second floor. We believe the intention of the DRC's guidelines is to eliminate homes with a box like look when some homes are designed with similar main level square footages as upper level. As a result of requests by the homeowner we designed this home to have four bedrooms upstairs. This creates a challenge with DRC guidelines. We have mitigated this guideline by adding a large outdoor covered patio with an enclosed wall to create a more spread out and cascading appearance when viewed from the exterior. We also believe the larger three car garage further assisted in mitigating this requirement. Aspen Built Homes Inc.
