GENERAL CONSTRUCTION NOTES:
1. THE EXISTING CO NTOUR INTERVAL IS ONE (1 ) FOOT (DASHED).
2. ALL CONTRACTORS AND SUBCONTRACTORS SHALL HAVE A SET OF APPROVED CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS ON SITE AT ALL TIMES.
3. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROTECTING EXISTING CONDITIONS OUTSIDE THE DESIGNATED IMPROVEMENT
AREA FROM DAMAGE. ANY DAMAGE TO EXISTING AREAS OUTSIDE THE DESIGNATED IMPROVEMENT AREA DURING CONSTRUCTION SHALL,
AT A MIN IMUM, BE RESTORED TO A STATE EQUAL TO ITS PRE CONSTRUCTION STATE.
4. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN ALL NECESSARY PERMITS TO COMPLETE WOR K, AND SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL LOCAL, STATE,
AND FEDERAL REGULATIONS . IDENTIFYING THE NEED FOR A PERMIT, PREPARING THE APPLICATION, AND PAYING THE SUBMITIAL AND
REVIEW FEES NECESSARY TO SECURE PERMITS WILL BE THE TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR. A COPY OF ALL
PERMITS MUST BE POSTED AND WEATHER PROOFED ON SITE AT ALL TIMES.
5. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PERFORM THE WORK ACCORDING TO ALL LOCAL GOVERNMENT, COUNTY, STATE, AND FEDERAL SAFETY
AND HEALTH REGULATIONS. IN PARTICULAR, THE "TRENCHING" AND 'OPEN EXCAVATION" OPERATIONS SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL CURRENT
0.S.H.A. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS.
FINAL GRADING & DRAINAGE NOTES:
1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTAIN HIS CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS TO THE AREA WITHIN THE LIMITS OF DISTURBANCE, THE
CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT OPERATE OUTSIDE THIS AREA WITHOUT THE PRIOR CONSENT OF THE PROPERTY OWNER INVOLVED .
2. ALL SPOT ELEVATIONS AND GRADING CONCEPTS SHALL BE FIELD VERIFIED PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION . ANY DEVIATIONS SHALL BE
COORDINATED WITH THE ENGINEER OF RECORD AND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT.
3. ALL GEOTECHNICAL RECOMMENDATIONS MUST BE ADHERED TO.

EROSION CONTROL NOTS:
1. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF ALL TEMPORlY EROSION CONTRCX. MEASURES.
2. DUST CAUSED BY EXCAVATION, TOPSOIL REMOVAL OPERATIONS, OR ROAD BASE PLACEENT SHALL BE CONTROLLED BY THE CONTRACTOR
AT HIS EXPENSE. THE ENGINEER OR CITY MAY REQUIRE THE CONTRACTOR AT ANY TIMfO DISCONTINUE CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES UNTft.
DUST CONDITIONS ARE REDUCED TO THE CITY'S SATISFACTION.
3. THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE REQUIRED TO FURNISH AND APPLY A DUST PALLIATIVE (THE SITE AS DIRECTED BY THE COUNTY. DUST
PALLIATIVE MAY CONSIST OF WATER OR A NON-POLLUTING SOLUTION. SPREADING Of/ATER OR WATER MIXTURE SHALL BE DONE WITH
ACCEPTABLE SPRINKLING EQUIPMENT.
4. STORMWATER DISCHARGES FROM CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES SHALL NOT CAUSE , tfE THE REASONABLE POTENTIAL TO CAUSE, OR
MEASURABLY CONTRIBUTE TO AN EXCEEDANCE OF ANY WATER QUALITY STANDARD.
5. THE EROSION CONTROL PLAN SHALL BE CONTINUOUSLY UPDATED TO REFLECT NEW CREVISED BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES (BMP'S)
DUE TO CHANGES IN DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION, OR MAINTENANCE OF TfCONSTRUCTION SITE. UPDATES MUST BE MADE
WITHIN 72 HOURS FOLLOWING THE CHANGE IN BMP'S.
