HomeMy WebLinkAbout1.08 Grading & DrainageGrading and Drainage We are requesting waivers of these requirements. We are constructing this building as an agricultural storage building. For all purposes intended the road to the building will already exist. Drainage is not an issue because we are not changing the existing landscape enough to have an influence on drainage. Due to the topographic features of this parcel, all drainage goes into Grass Valley Reservoir and does not impact any other parcel. All of this activity falls under the construction of our storage building and its' agricultural purpose. However, we will adhere to all requirements pertaining to construction erosion control per our building permit. We have obtained a statement from the engineer who performed our topographic survey and has experience in this realm. All grades are noted on the site plan and the topographic survey. (see Site Plan) Taking into consideration the nature of the special use we are requesting as being in the spring, summer and fall; snow storage and removal or storage of sand will not be an issue. The building will have covered walkways, so we are not planning gutters. This will spread the water off the building and we plan to surround the building with a gravel skirt to control roof water and mud splatters.
