GARFIELD COUNTY ("COUNTY') and Property Owner (%PPLICANfl)CMH Homes LLC
agree as follows:
1. The Applicant has submitted to the County an appllcatlon for the followlng Project:
The Applicant understands and agrees that Garfield County Resolution No. 2014{O as
amende4 establishes a fee schedule for each type application, and the guidelines for the
administration of the fee structure.
The Applicant and the County agree that because ofthe size, nature orscope ofthe
proposed project, it is not possible at this tlme to ascertain the ful! extent of th€ costs
involved in processing the application. The Applicant agrees to make payment of the Base
Fee, established for the Project, and to thereafter permit addftlonal costs to be bllled to the
Applicant. The Appllcant agrees to make additional payments upon notification by the
County, when they are necessary, as costs are lncurred.
The Base Fee shall be in addition to and exclusive of any cost for publication or cost of
consulting service determined necessary by the Board of County Commissioners for the
consideration of an application or additionat County staff tlme or expense not covered by
the Base Fee. lf actual recorded costs exceed the initial Base Fee, the Applicant shall pay
additional bllllngs to the County to reimburse the County for the processing of the Project.
The Applicant acknowledges that all billing shall be paid prlor to the flna! conslderation by
the County of any Land Use Change or Dtulslon of Land.

Glenwood Springs, CO 81601, hereinafter called Grantor, is the owner of a flfty
percent (50%o) interest of the oil, gas and other minerals that may be produced from the
property described below. The Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of ten and more
dollars ($1O.OO;, cash in hand paid, and other good and valuable considerations, the receipt
of which is hereby acknowledged, has hereby granted, bargained, sold, conveyed,

A statement of authority (SOA) is an instnrment executed on behalf of an entity (i.e. limitod
tiability company, partncrship or corporation) that identifies the name and position of the pemxln
auttrorized to convey, encumber or othcrwise affect real property on behalf ofthe entity. SOA is
recorded and meets the requirements of C.R.S. Section 38-3A-n2.
For a timited liability company, tlpically the SOA is executed and recorded to designate that the
manager can sign a warranty deed on behalf of the company. For a corporation, the President or
Vice-President will be granted this authority. A limited liability limited partnership will grant
.ttris power to its garcral partner.
The SOA grants extensive power to the named psrty (usually an officer, manager or other high
rurking employee of the entity) to encumber real property owned by the entity.

computer. You can search the Section, Township, and Range of the subject property.
You may find deeds for mineral interests for the subject properfy.
5. Research whettrer a Notice of Mineral Estate Ownership was filed for the subject
Prcperty. On the Clerk and Recorder's computer, search under Filter (on the right hand
side of the screen), General Recordings, Notice of Mineral Estate Ownership for the
subject property.
6, If you find mineral interest owtrers as ressrvations on your deod, listed in your title
insurance policy, from the Assessor's records or the Clerk and Recorder's computer, you
need to determine whether these mineral interests were bansferred by deed and recorded
in ttre Clerk and Recorder's office..
7. Enter ttre name of the mineral interest owner as the Grantor in the Clerk and Recorder's
computer to see if the mineral interest was hansferred. If you find a transfer deed, you
need to repeat this process to follow any transfer ofthe mineral interest to present day.
8. lnclude a description of your research process in your application and the name(s) and
address(es) of the current mineral interest owne(s).
Mineral interest research can be a difficult and time consuming process. If you are unable to
determine mineral rights ownership by yourselfl, consider hiring an attomey or landman.

Got it thanks,
We have no issues with it. My only concern was if it was a single family unit or multifamily. lt says single so we are
fine. We have already been asked about a driveway permit, so that process is started with Clayton Homes.
