The design codes on SI of this project should read:

As a follow-up to our phone conversation this afternoon, we require verification from your structural engineer on a
couple of items included in their General Notes & Specifications for the above referenced project:
1. Reference Building Code: Your engineer references the 2003 IRC, but Garfield County adopted the 2015 IRC on
July 1, 2016. Please provide verification that structural design complies with the 2015 IRC.
2. Wind Speed: One specific aspect of the 2015 building code is Ultimate Wind Speed = 115 mph (3 second burst).
Please provide verification that structural design complies with this requirement (not 90 mph wind speed as
shown on plans).
Email verification by your structural engineer to our office (see contact info below) will satisfy these requirements and
will allow us to proceed with issuance of your building permit.
